About the Department

The Department of Tourism is dedicated to preparing and qualifying specialized professionals in the fields of tourism and tourist destination management through academic programs that combine theoretical knowledge with practical applications and keep pace with modern global practices and trends in the tourism sector. The Department focuses on developing students’ knowledge and skills in the planning, management, and development of tourist destinations, cultural and environmental tourism, event and conference management, tourism product and service management, and travel and tourism agencies. It also equips students with administrative knowledge related to strategic planning, marketing, human resources management, information technology, and financial management. The Department also places strong emphasis on practical training and hands-on applications, enhancing students’ ability to apply their knowledge in various work environments and contributing to the preparation of qualified graduates who can meet labor market needs, actively contribute to the development of the tourism sector, and enhance the competitiveness of tourist destinations.
