Cooperation Agreement between the University and Amsa Training Company
King Khalid University, represented by the College of Tourism and Hospitality, signed a cooperation agreement with Amsa Training Company last Tuesday. The agreement aims to enhance integration between the two parties and improve the quality of their joint programs and activities. The agreement was signed at the University's campus in Al-Fara'a.
The University was represented in signing the cooperation agreement by Dr. Reham Mashat, Dean of the College of Tourism and Hospitality, while Amsa Training Company was represented by Mr. Mohammed Al-Adhl.
The agreement includes several provisions, most notably cooperation in training and professional development, the exchange of expertise and knowledge, and the provision of training opportunities in the same field. It also includes developing curricula in Culinary Arts, coordinating introductory visits for students to hotel projects and establishments, and contributing to the development of educational materials and the creation of training programs. The agreement aims to qualify young professionals from the Asir region in the field of tourism and hospitality.
In this context, Dr. Reham Mashat, Dean of the College of Tourism and Hospitality at the University, explained that the agreement is part of the College's ongoing efforts to provide the best training and professional programs and opportunities for its students and graduates. Through this agreement, the College has provided students with training opportunities leading to employment. She confirmed that, as a first step, a number of female graduates of the Mountain Resort Management Diploma, supported by the Ministry of Tourism, have been employed.
